A young woman was sitting on a stool outside a tea shop. After a while, she got up and started riding a scooter. In the meantime, a young man came across the road and grabbed the woman’s hair, pulling her down. Her head hit the ground. Then the young man sat on top of her, took out a pistol from his pocket, and inserted the barrel into the woman’s mouth.
The brave intervention from people present at the scene led to the capture of the young man, who was then severely beaten up. The police arrived at the scene and took the young man into custody. The crowd had beaten him to the point of unconsciousness, and he was rushed to the hospital. This incident occurred near Patel Nagar on Saharanpur Road, in front of shops.

The young man attempted to fire the gun three times, but the trigger got stuck every time, causing all three shots to miss. Meanwhile, some people gathered there and apprehended the young man, subjecting him to a severe beating.
Someone picked up a baseball bat, others started beating with their hands
When the police arrived at the scene, the unconscious young man was taken into custody and brought to the market police station. Upon searching him, the police found an ID card in his possession. The ID card belonged to Kamaljeet Singh, a resident of Darbhanga, Bihar.
It was a railway ID card. On the other hand, the woman’s identity was established as Richa, a resident of Muzaffarpur, Bihar, who is currently studying at a local university. It is being reported that the young man had been harassing her for a long time and he had attempted to murder her on this occasion. SSP Ajay Singh informed that a case has been registered against the suspect, and currently, he is receiving medical treatment.
Surgical blades found in the pocket
When the shopkeepers and the police searched the young man’s pockets, they found three surgical blades as well. If he had not been caught in time, he could have used these blades to harm the woman. The police are currently investigating the case. It has been disclosed that the accused young man was also studying in the same locality before.
The young man had been standing in the lane near the temple for quite some time
People in the vicinity of the incident mentioned that they had seen this young man near the temple in the lane a while ago, while the girl was already present at the shop. However, it is not known if they had met before or not, as the locals have no information about this. The SSP mentioned that the footage from the CCTV cameras around the crime scene is being reviewed, and further investigation will be carried out accordingly.
