Recruitment for nursing officers has opened in government medical colleges. Find out when the application process will begin.

The Secretary and Additional Secretary of the Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board, Garima Raunkali, have issued orders for the recruitment of nursing officers. The Department of Medical Education has opened a bumper recruitment for nursing officer positions in government medical colleges.

The Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board has initiated the recruitment process for 1455 positions. Online application forms will be filled from 12th December onwards. Selection for these positions will be based on annual merit of the candidates.

Secretary and Additional Secretary of the Medical Service Selection Board, Garima Raunkali, have issued orders for the recruitment of nursing officer positions. The Department of Medical Education has announced recruitment for 1455 vacant nursing officer positions in addition to Government Medical Colleges in Dehradun, Srinagar, Haldwani, and State Cancer Institute in Haldwani.

The state government has decided to conduct the recruitment of nursing officer positions based on annual merit for once. A government order has already been issued for this purpose. Out of the total positions, 288 are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 211 for Other Backward Classes, 59 for Scheduled Tribes, and 211 for Economically Weaker Sections.

Meanwhile, 753 positions are open to candidates from the General category. As per the notification released by the board, online applications for nursing positions will start from 12th December. The last date to apply has been set as 1st January 2024. For nursing officer positions, the Medical Service Selection Board has set a fee of INR 300 for candidates from the General category, while SC, ST, economically weaker sections, other backward classes, and disabled candidates will be charged INR 150.
