Last Date Approaching for JEE Main 2024 Application
The deadline for applying for JEE Main 2024 is quickly approaching. For the country’s largest engineering entrance exam, you can only apply until November 30. This means that there are only two days left to complete the application process. If you haven’t applied yet and are interested, you should do so immediately.
According to reports, over 900,000 candidates have already applied for JEE Main 2024. Last year, around 860,000 students applied for the January session. After the application process is completed, there will be a chance for applicants to make corrections in their forms.
Some candidates have expressed concerns that although they have completed the application process and submitted the fee, the fee has been refunded to their account. They are uncertain whether to reapply or make another fee payment. It is important for them not to miss out on submitting their application forms.
The JEE Main Session 1 exam will take place on January 24 and February 1, 2024, while Session 2 will be held on April 1 and April 15, 2024. The information regarding the exam cities will be released in the second week of January. Admit cards will be issued three days before the exam date.
JEE Main consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses, and Paper 2 is for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses. After the completion of JEE Main exams, the ranks based on the best NTA scores of both sessions will be announced. The top 250,000 candidates from JEE Main will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced for admission to IITs.
JEE Main 2024 will follow the same marking scheme as last year. Each subject – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics – will be divided into two sections. Section A will have 30 questions, and Section B will have 10 questions. Thus, there will be a total of 90 questions in the paper. However, candidates need to attempt only five questions from Section B, meaning they have to answer a total of 75 questions.
For the B.Tech/B.E. paper, there will be three subjects – Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each subject will have 20 questions in Section A, and 10 questions in Section B. In total, there will be 90 questions. The computer-based exam for the first shift will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second shift will take place from 3 PM to 6 PM.
