Investor Summit to Open Doors for Development: CM Inspects Preparations from Airport to FRI

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the preparations for the State-level Global Investor Summit Destination Uttarakhand, which is scheduled to be held at the Forest Research Institute (FRI) in Dehradun on 8th and 9th December. He assessed the preparations from the airport to the venue and also interacted with people involved in the preparations.

The state government is giving top priority to investment proposals with higher employment opportunities, as stated by CM Dhami. The government is continuously making efforts to provide more employment opportunities for the youth of the state.

After inspecting on Sunday, CM Dhami directed the officials to complete all preparations promptly. He mentioned that Prime Minister Modi has been invited for the inauguration of the State-level Global Investors Summit. He stated that this summit will prove to be a milestone for the state. During various roadshows conducted so far, approximately INR 2.5 billion agreements have already been signed.

The process of finalizing these agreements is progressing rapidly. The state government is giving top priority to investment proposals that have higher employment potential. The government is consistently making efforts to increase employment opportunities for the state’s youth.

CM Dhami mentioned that Uttarakhand is receiving guidance from PM Modi for the Global Investors Summit. The state is promoting Destination Uttarakhand, taking inspiration from the vibrant Gujarat. This summit will lead to increased investments in the state, strengthen the economy, and provide more employment opportunities for the state’s youth. Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Secretary and Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, DM Dehradun Sonika, Vice-Chairman MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari, SSP Dehradun Ajay Singh, and other officials were present on this occasion.

During the inspection of road and beautification works from Jollygrant to FRI, CM Dhami took feedback from local residents and shopkeepers regarding the works. He also boosted the morale of workers involved in beautification works and mentioned that after beautification, all markets will appear more attractive.
