Crowd climbed stage for selfies, despite requests; Shami left the program

Renowned bowler and impressive performer in the World Cup, Mohammad Shami, attended a program organized at Rishikul Ground on Sunday, upon the invitation of Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar. Due to the overwhelming crowd on stage and at the ground, Mohammad Shami could not deliver his speech. In his brief address, Shami encouraged the youth to work hard, emphasizing that only through hard work will they achieve better results.

He stressed the importance of dedication to the game and loyalty to oneself. Shami faced difficulties due to the crowd’s insistence on taking b, and despite repeated requests, the program could not commence, leading him to leave the venue. Shami mentioned that each person possesses different talents and abilities, and it is crucial to recognize and refine one’s skills.

In response to a fan’s question, Mohammad Shami mentioned that he learned a lot from the bowling styles of Wasim Akram, Dale Steyn from South Africa, and Anderson from England while he was learning cricket and honing his bowling.

These fast bowlers served as great inspiration during his journey to becoming a fast bowler. When another fan asked about his advice for becoming a fast bowler, Shami recommended focusing on building strength, along with paying attention to fitness, skills, recovery, diet, and proper sleep.

When asked about the controversy surrounding Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma’s catch in the World Cup, Mohammad Shami chose not to comment much on the ongoing discussions in the online media but acknowledged that fake information can also circulate in such situations.
